I stayed at Maifukan Feb. 2-3, 2011. My room was great--big for Japan, great bed, good-sized bathroom (for Japan), nicely decorated. Beautiful rooftop terrace to use when the weather is good. Coin laundry close by is open during the day. Several nice restaurants in the area. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

We had a Japanese style room of about 8 jo (x 1,6 = sqm), clean, new and nice. Nice bathroom and washlet toilet. Fridge with 2 bottles of water every day, water cattle to boil water in. With a convenient store on the ground floor, it`s been easy to do self-catering.
