Amanohashidate Viewland Kyoto

Amanohashidate Viewland in Kyoto is on the crest of Mt. Monju, located in Miyazu City.

Amanohashidate holds the rank of 3rd most beautiful place in Japan. Have the ultimate fun as you enjoy the exciting activities! Visitors can take the joyrides on the Ferris wheel, the two-seater jet coaster, the go-carts and the SL Benkei. Take your family to the skyline restaurants and enjoy the special Japanese delicacies watching the scintillating view from up there. Especially the Amanohashidate Hiryukan a bedazzling view from the skyline restaurants.

This amusement park is not far away from KTR Amanohashidate Station. You can see the Amanohashidate Viewland Park on Mt. Monju’s peak behind KTR Amanohashidate Station. It’s only a five minutes walk from Amanohashidate, which lies on the KTR Miyazu Line.

The costs of the tickets to enter the Awaji World Park are also quite reasonable. Adults have to pay 850 yens, which includes the entrance fee plus a round-trip ticket. But the students and children are given tickets at a concession. Students of elementary schools have to pay 450 Japanese yens. The same rate goes for children as well.

Kyoto’s Awaji World Park is open all seven days of a week. It usually opens its gates for visitors at 9-10 in the morning and closes down at 5.30 in the evening. From 21st July to 20th August, the timing changes from 8-40am to 6-30pm. But from 21st October to 20th February, the timings go through another rescheduling and the park is closed at 5pm.
